Where to Eat and Drink

  1. 3 Brasseurs (Microbrewery) 650, Grande Allée Est

We loved this place. It has a great vibe and really good beer. We had drinks and dinner. The place can be busy sometimes. We tried the Nachos Classicos (CAD$16 + CAD$5 for chicken) which we loved, 3 Brasseurs Burger (CAD$15.95) and the Premium Et Cetera (Four 12.5 cl taster glasses: blonde, neighborhood, feature beer, and IPA CAD$8.40)

  1. Cosmo Café 575, Grande Allée Est

The place it is so cozy. It is a restaurant/bar at night. The portions were big, the service was excellent. I had the cosmos special and it was superb. The price range is from CAD$8-$23. They were a lot of locals.

  1. Café Buade 31 rue de Buade

Café Buade is a local spot for Canadian to have breakfast. They have a big variety of options for breakfast, even a healthy corner. It is a cozy place, but if you don’t have enough time I will advise you not to go as the service is kind of slow (so have patience). Everything we had was very good. Something that we didn’t like was that, the lady was kind of aggressive for us to leave a tip. She even followed me to the restroom to let me know that I have to tip, which we were going to do.

  1. Café La Maison Smith Place-Royale 23, Rue Notre Dame

Great place to get fresh sandwiches, focaccia, and pastries. The chocolate it is good. The service was excellent, they were very friendly. The croissants were on point, mouthwatering. The place is small so it is kind of difficult to find a space, go early.

  1. Restaurant Portofino Bistro 54 Rue Couillard

Located in the heart of Québec City, this restaurant welcomes you to its cozy and cheerful atmosphere. The service was excellent and there were very friendly. The food was amazing, like real Italian. My sister usually doesn’t like pasta from restaurants and she loved this one. The pizza WAS EXCELLENT and we also had eggplant parmesan. The portions were very big.
